Covered Bridge Festival

We went to the 2014 Covered Bridge Festival in Winterset this year.  We thought since we will be moving there it would be nice to start going to some of the community events.  With Winterset being such a historical place, there is a lot that goes on there.  We didn't arrive until later in the eveing, but got in a little shopping at the vendors and ate dinner. 

After the shops closed down we took a drive through the Winterset City Park.  It is sooo beautiful there.  Tons of trees and rolling hills, with wild animals everywhere.  We spotted some deer on our drive through the park and also stopped at the Clark Tower.  It was so fun to walk up in the tower to see the gorgeous view and watch the sunset.  I cannot wait to get down there!
